ROP Class Information

Have you ever listened to the school announcements and heard about the Career center or ROP courses you can take, and you may wonder “what in the world is that?”

Well, the Career Center is found in room 202 and the adviser for the room is Miss Alanis. ROP courses provide a variety of help with Career development and training; such as Marketing and Merchandising, Firefighting, and Graphic Design.

You can sign up for these courses by going to the Career Center and asking for a pamphlet and the sheet for the class you are interested in taking.

ROP is an acronym for Regional Occupational Program; it is a vocational training program for high schoolers in the CJUHSD.

These classes are meant to help you excel in whatever profession you would prefer in your life, the program even offers an internship with a job type to help you make a name for yourself in that industry or job line.
