  • El Salvador and Honduras fought a brief hundred-hour war in July of 1969. Although a big cause of the war were of legitimate reasoning such as immigration, tension rose during the 1970 FIFA World Cup, giving it the name of the Football (Soccer) War.
  • The Virtual Reality headset Oculus Rift was relieved of much-needed financial aid thanks to Facebook’s involvement and is scheduled to release sometime this year.
  • Dr. Seuss’ surname is pronounced as “Soyce.”
  • Edwin Booth, the brother of John Wilkes Booth, once saved Abraham Lincoln’s son, Robert Todd Lincoln from a moving train.
  • A rare squid species was found, having human-esque teeth.
  • Ontario High School placed in the top twenty-five for Ed Sheeran’s #EdOnCampus contest.
