In the last few years, the climate has changed dramatically worldwide and some of the effects that will come from it may be irreversible.

Glacier National Park, has experienced a decrease in the glaciers inside the park, from 110 glaciers to 30 in around 100 years. In about 30 more years, it is said that all the glaciers at the park will disappear entirely. This could mean massive flooding for various oceanic cities.

“Things that normally happen in geologic time are happening during the span of a human lifetime. It’s like watching the Statue of Liberty melt.” says Daniel Fagre, an expert in mountain ecosystems and climate change.

Some say the California drought is an effect of this insane heat, and this can have some horrible aftermath on our population. This can stop the growth of California crops like almonds, apricots, strawberries, and kiwi fruits among others. It can also have serious consequences for our community. The heat has already reduced the amount of water that we are allowed, as well as some foods we consume.

Based on the information provided by http://www.broward.org, the best our population can do is just be wary of upcoming years, because the heat is only going to increase unless we do something about it. Some of the most effective methods to reduce dramatic climate change spans from purchasing a fuel efficient car, to planting drought resistant trees.
